This year the festival will be celebrating the 12th anniversary of its founding, with highlight guest stars such as Rick Margitza and Domenico Sanna Trio (23rd), Ostinato (24th), Chaka Khan (26th), Maceo Parker (27th) and Tower of Power (28th). Poggiodomo (Pg). Roccatamburo will be celebrating its patron saint, St Joseph, on August 22nd, with a procession involving the town’s penitent brotherhoods bearing the statue of the saint on their shoulders. The celebrations will end with a series of popular games and the auctioning off of the sheep donated by the local shepherds to pay for the mutton lunch prepared for all by the women.
