Terni (TR) - Ministry of Heritage and Culture and Tourism and the State Archives of Terni invite Friday, September 27, 2013, at 17:00, at the conference hall "Gisa Giani" - Palazzo Mazzancolli the exhibition of etchings by Bellardi Franco (1973-2012) and the presentation of the catalog edited by Eugenio Giannì.
The artist Franco Bellardi, born in Reggio Emilia in 1934, lives in Colli sul Velino works in various fields of art and culture and has to his credit more than forty exhibitions of his works in Italy and abroad in 1995 resulted in Rieti to "Schola", now historicized training center and research in painting, ceramics and intaglio printing.
The exhibition helps to bring attention to the old technique of engraving, etching in particular, spread in Europe and in Italy, in particular with Guercino, Guido Reni, Canaletto. To raise awareness of this technique has been envisaged in the opening period of the exhibition, a practical demonstration of the work of engraving by the master Bellardi, for the public and, in particular, to the young students of the schools of the city.
The exhibition will run until October 13 in the opening hours of the Institute.
