Terni Lady of fairs and markets
The history project Merchants and fairs in Terni from the Middle Ages to the present day made during the school year 2013-2014, students from the class of VAT Liceo Scientifico Galileo Galilei, coordinated by the teacher of history and philosophy To sca Guarino, in collaboration with the Educational Service of the State of Terni and the Blacks operators Pier Luca and Alessandro Pambianco School of Cinema Service and the municipality of Terni, was born from the desire to promote the students 'knowledge of their territory in the past, focusing on the changes marked by time, in the economic, cultural and social in order to encourage the formation of a' city's identity, as a feeling of belonging and civil liability. For the realization of this goal it was necessary to archival research on documentary sources, with the collection and the analysis of the documents in a series of meetings of educational workshop conducted in the State Archives with archivists Filippa Trummino and Luigi Di Sano, which was followed by the collection of evidence oral history with interviews and filming place in the new city market.
The final product of the project consists of the videos Terni Mrs. fairs and markets that will be presented May 16, 2014 at 17, 00 at the conference hall Gisa Giani of this Institute.
