Terni (TR) - From May 1st to 15th Collescipoli will be alive with this year's edition of the Ben Venga Maggio event, with processions, scenes from Medieval life in costume and other attractions culminating in the celebrations held for the feast day of St Nicolò, the town's patron saint. The festivities close with a procession and joust that commemorate the liberation of Collescipoli from the vassalage of the Spada family from Terni, which took place on November 22nd 1564 with troops sent by Pope Paul IV.
