Terni (TR) - This edition of Views of Summits like the previous ones is the result of a careful and accurate teamwork that is based on the passion for the mountains. From these reflections comes the theme of the sixth edition which is held from 24 to 27 January 2014 in the usual structure of the museum center of CAOS in Terni.
A choice that is embodied by the knowledge that these events have the responsibility and at the same time the strength to make available to the public material to reflect and to deepen stimuli. A need to focus on climate change with the attempt to leave aside unnecessary catastrophic and understand through expert testimony that the magnitude of the problem is changing our planet and our lives.
Thoughts that revolve in particular around the transformation of the mountains and the consequent adaptation of the climbers and all those who attend the mountain environment. The round table with the significant title, "hot ice" by ARPA Umbria Region, will kick off the festival in a rhythmic alternation of prominent voices in the wake of which will fit the mountaineer - environmental engineer Francesco Rota Nodari with its Studies on the adaptation of climbers to the mountains that change.
The program then dipanerà between adventure, mountaineering, caving explorations glacio-film from the last edition of the Trento Filmfestival, trekking in the area dedicated to schools, the presentation of the book E.Sebastiani "A Cameron" (the Scottish who has dedicated life of the mountain and explore choosing as his spiritual home of the Valle d'Aosta ones). Grand finale with the screening and awarding of the work of the third edition of the successful competition for video works by mountains.
