Poggiodomo (PG) - Processions to the Madonna della Stella hermitage run every Sunday throughout May. The hermitage was built after a miraculous find that took place in 1833, when two shepherds taking shelter from the rain discovered a miraculously well preserved fresco of the Virgin. The image started to be venerated by the local inhabitants and eventually a sanctuary sprung up around the fresco.

Festa del Maggio in San Pellegrino Gualdo Tadino (PG) - On April 30th and May 1st and 6th San Pellegrino will be holding its Festa del Maggio, which derives from a miraculous event that took place way back in 1004. A pilgrim on his way along the Via Francigena from Caprara to San Pellegrino died in his sleep and the following morning the villagers discovered that his pilgrim's staff had miraculously germinated.
