The onset of Alessio Follieri in the world of writing dates back to 1999 when he began working with some philosophical and scientific journals proposing his thesis. The topics most interest to go beyond the boundaries of science, assessing the meaning of life, the physical universe, the encounter between science and faith.
In 2004 he published his first essay: 'The new rationality, science, philosophy and theology'.
From 2000 to 2006 he was engaged as a lecturer in various Italian cities exposing his research on the origin of life, evolution and the mysteries of the universe, proposing new metaphysical theories. The essay won in the unpublished essay, the literary award conferred to the Italian Confederation of Scientific and Literary Arts in Rome. In 2006, completes the writing of the essay "The double meaning of life", as he won the unpublished literary prize of the Italian Institute of Culture, unpublished essay section. In 2008, the book is published by Giraldi Publisher (still in distribution) and is a finalist in the nonfiction section published at Florence Prize.
