Valfabbrica (PG) - Valfabbrica (Pg). The Elisir amateur sporting association, in collaboration with the Perugia branch of C.U.R.I.A.MO, has scheduled a series of twelve walks from April 30th through to May 14th with the aim of promoting a healthier lifestyle particularl for sufferers from diabetes and overweight. With the title "Prima di partire per un lungo viaggio", the walks will total the 388 kilometres through Umbria, the Marche and Tuscany, for an overall itinerary that begins on the Adriatic Sea and ends the other side of Italy on the Tyrrhenian shores.
On March 6th there will be the walk following in the footsteps of St Francis around Valfabbrica, for a duration of roughly four hours. Anyone interested in taking part should meet at 8.30am in front of the Valfabbrica town hall. Please be punctual!
