Alviano (Tr). The Alviano WWF reserve of Lake Alviano contains just about all the typical wetland habitats that can be found in Central Italy. Open to the public from September 1st to May 31st from 10am to dusk, the group offers guided tours and birdwatching facilities to both private individuals and school groups.

On October 24th the reserve will be holding a special teaching lab from 11.30am to 3.30pm focussing on biodiversity natural wetlands.
