Norcia (PG) - In all the municipalities of the Nera Valley in the province of Perugia, Norcia from Terni, from 25 August to 2 September will host the event in Park ... Music, Early Music Festival now in its tenth edition.
The festival 'was born in 2004 on the initiative of the Academy Baroque W. Hermans and the then Consorzio del Nera River Park, with the purpose 'to enhance the area with activities' cultural quality' and to promote tourism and the economy. The general objective 'to enhance the historic sites of the Nera Valley through concerts of early music performed on historical instruments. "
The Academy Hermans has decided to celebrate the tenth edition of the Festival PARK IN ... MUSIC activating valuable partnerships with associations, training institutes, organizations and institutions, during the days of the Festival students and faculty of the Department of Early Music Institute Briccialdi will be guests in the village of Casteldilago for a workshop that will emerge Ancient Music 'in concert end of 2 September in the village of Torreorsina. This edition also received a special award sponsored by the Superintendence for the Historical, Artistic and Ethno-anthropological Heritage of Umbria.
