Magione (PG) - The highlight of the week is Magione, from 1977, the RACE yokes, then WIN THE YOKE. This competition is inspired by an old custom campagnola: the farmers, during the beating, liked to "compete" in a race that saw them united under the yoke that during the day kept close oxen working in the fields.
Participating in the various districts, of course divided in teams, which have a specific theme in relation to which dress their participants. After the costume parade, often preceded by flag bearers and drummers, the public can watch the race. Year after year we see the growing interest and increasing participation.
