Marsciano (PG) - The award ceremony of the twelfth edition of the National Literary Prize Gens Vibia is scheduled for Friday, March 21, 2014, on the occasion of the International Day of Poetry, from 16.30 in the Sala A. Capitini of the residence hall. The Award is organized by the Cultural Pegasus with the help of Intra and patronage of the Umbria Region, the Province of Perugia and the Municipality of Marsciano. At the awards ceremony will be attended, among others, the President of Pegasus, Deanna Mannaioli and the Councillor for Culture of the City of Marsciano Valentina Bonomi.
The award is divided into three sections: language poetry, poetry in dialect and youth section. This edition also saw a good participation of artists from different Italian regions. A panel of experts from the worlds of culture has, for each section, identified a small number of finalists and then, among these, the winner. For the win in the Poetry in Italian was Tiziana Monari, Prato, while the first poem in dialect is classified Daniela Gregorini, Fano in the province of Ancona. Among the young the first place if he wins Giulia Soccolini.
During the awards ceremony will also be awarded a special prize to the "Poet of the year in Umbria", which will Giampiero Mirabassi, and the award to the memory of "Matilda Margaritelli" Marscianese child died a few years ago in a car accident.
