Ferentillo (TR) - A journey through tableaux, a mixture of culture, history and tradition for the XIX edition of "Le Rocche tell" that takes place in Ferentillo August 16 to 25 on the feast of the patron Saint Sebastian. According to tradition, 20 August 1708, the saint saved the city from a severe plague and every year in the period of August is organized a unique event that brings back the most salient facts.
The streets and squares of Ferentillo, a small village by the striking position of the Nera Valley, come alive with typical scenes of medieval life, with the opening of taverns that offer the chance to taste the typical products of the area, rich in a long gastronomic tradition. And then, theater performances, concerts and cultural events.
Do not miss the outskirts, visit the Benedictine Abbey of San Pietro in Valle, the Museum of Mummies in the hamlet of Precept, the Museum of Rural Life in the locality Macenano.
