Gubbio (PG). From July 20th to August 6th the 2010 edition of the Gubbio Summer Festival, under the artistic direction of Katia Ghigi, will be offering top quality international performers and an ever broader programme of concerts.
Besides in Gubbio itself, the concerts will take place in a number of magnificent surrounding locations comprising no less than twelve different nearby towns in Umbria and the Marche.
Following on the success of past editions, this year’s festival will also be running courses for children, thus enabling entire families to plan their holiday at the festival whilst offering their loved ones the enjoyment of local farmhouse residences immersed in the green hills and healthy air. For the festival students there is an excellent lodging agreement with a hotel in town that will become almost a campus for professors and students for the duration of the event.
