The Sognando il Museo series of events for children organised by museums across the region continues on May 15th at the Museo Faina, where children (aged between 6 and 10) will receive a specially tailored guided tour and be able to sleep the night in a sleeping bag amongst the Etruscan archaeological finds of the collection. Assisi (Pg). From May 15th to 30th the Rocca Maggiore of Assisi will be hosting the painting exhibition-workshop entitled "Il gioco è una cosa seria", with contemporary artists collaborating with children to decorate umbrellas. Read more

Castelluccio di Norcia (Pg). In Castelluccio the Feast of the Ascension, which this year will fall on May 16th, is celebrated with Holy Mass followed by a procession to a hilltop known as Lu cunnuttu in the local dialect, where an outdoor altar is decorated with seasonal flowers and the parish priest imparts a blessing of protection on the surrounding countryside. On May 16th, the Feast of the Ascension, the Pro Loco of Capodacqua di Assisi has scheduled a walk up to the area known as the Stazzi on Mount Subasio, where there will be Holy Mass in the Church of Sant'Apollinare followed by grilled sausages for lunch.
