Perugia (PG) - Oblivion Show: a compendium of irresistible music and comedy scene in the 30 and 31 January 2014 at Teatro Morley. With his usual elegance and irreverence, the five post-modern madrigalists tell epic stories or simple daily events continually playing with the music.
Most of the time we see them massacred famous songs and lyrics and put them back together in ways surreal, sometimes compete with virtuoso exercises in style and original songs. As in any self-respecting subsidiary are all subjects, from music theory to history, to the great Italian literature where Dante and Pinocchio sing their adventures in just six minutes. Oblivion play all the time of the show, wearing the robes of innocent boy scouts now struggling with a dodgy jammer, now evoking the smoky atmosphere of the Café-Chantant. The clock is ticking with a frenetic pace between retro tunes and techno sounds.
