Assisi (PG) - Saturday, August 10, at 21, will be available to visitors to the Good of the FAI - Italian Environment Fund a series of positions of sighting, which will transform the Complex of Santa Croce in a real cave astronomical. A night dedicated to the observation of the sky, waiting for the falling stars is because the Bosco di San Francesco offers to spend the night of San Lorenzo in the most impressive way.
The singular phenomenon, which scientifically is explained by the shift in the Earth's orbit of the asteroids in the constellation Perseus (precisely those Perseids), culturally has been developed so much more poetic. And it is precisely this aspect that the Bosco di San Francesco is intended to highlight, giving the participants an exciting and engaging. The observation of the starry sky will be led by experienced astronomers describe the constellations and the particularities of the stars and planets visible.
To make the evening even more exciting, we will also create sensory experiences with musical performances and tasting of typical products.
