Trevi (PG) - Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 21:15 staged "Italianesi" by and with Saverio La Ruina, original music performed live Roberto Cherillo. At the end of World War II, thousands of Italian soldiers and civilians remain trapped in Albania with the advent of the dictatorial regime.
On charges of subversive activities against the regime most is sentenced and then deported back to Italy. Women and children are detained and interned in prison camps for the only reason of being wives and children of Italians. In those camps remain forty years, forgotten.
As our protagonist, who was born in 1951 and lived forty years in the myth of his father and Italy, which reached in 1991 after the fall of the regime.
Recognized as refugees by the Italian State, arriving in the beautiful country in 365, believed to be welcomed as heroes, but paradoxically condemned to be Italians in Albania and Albanians in Italy. Inspired by true stories.
