Scheggino (PG) - Sunday, January 17 after the Mass, the square in front of the Church of St. Nicholas, or in the main square, the parish priest blesses all the animals of the country that are accompanied by their respective owners. Generally follows a small refreshment or drink offered to all present by Santesi (organizers of the event) nell'Aretta of St. Anthony.
Following lunch at a local restaurant where traditionally only involved men, on this occasion there is the election of Santesi who have the task of organizing the festival the following year.
