Assisi (PG) - From August 15 to 25 back to the usual review of the ancient flavors of Rivo Torto of Assisi, now in its Twenty-sixth edition. The Review presents an opportunity to meet, of celebration and friendship to rediscover the ancient flavor of our most beautiful traditions.
The style, the image and the program of the festival in fact always remain faithful to the purposes and intended purposes since the past years: to recreate some of the most significant aspects of the life of the past, the tradition of our people, to grasp the values ​​that gave meaning to that life maybe poor but so rich.
Everything is done by hand and cooked on the spot: torta al testo, homemade pasta, gnocchi, strangozzi, homemade bread, fillers, spit roasts, angry, grass countrified, traditional sweets. In order to enjoy all the best cutlery you will also find "real" dishes and "crock" that keep the food piping hot. The fresh ingredients and the skill of our cooks-esperienzaaffinano housewives with their art and their craftsmanship, make each dish, even simple, authentic specialties.
