Preci (PG) - On July 7th and 8th the 12th edition of the “Pane Prosciutto e Fantasia” wine and food review will once more be showcasing the prime produce of the Preci areq, including its prosciutto.
A big attraction for visitors, the event offers also seminars conducted by experts in the culinary field.
Plenty of stands offering tastings will be positioned in the streets and squares of the old town centre, offering visitors both a culinary itinerary as well as a cultural exploration of the historical sights this town has to offer.
The techniques for preserving the prosciutto in this area have been passed down from generation to generation, to the extent that the prosciutto of Preci has recently been awarded the Identificazione Geografica Protetta quality denomination by the European Union.
