Perugia (PG) - Friday, June 28 to 18 will be inaugurated the exhibition entitled SANDRO BECCHETTI. Faces from Umbria and Europe, edited by Alberto Mori, promoted by the Municipality of Perugia, from MIBAC - Regional Directorate for Cultural Heritage and Landscape of Umbria and the Superintendence for the Historical, Artistic and Ethno-anthropological Heritage of Umbria and the Umbria region, with the support of the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Perugia. The exhibition will be at Palazzo Penna up to 20 October 2013.
Biographical: Sandro Becchetti was born in Rome but is originally from Umbria (Pascelupo). It 'been a photographer for newspapers, magazines, press agencies for national and international magazines and television. His works have been exhibited in Italy and abroad in solo and group exhibitions. In addition to professional work has cultivated taste, pleasure, duty to witness what fell under the eye of his lens. In Umbria (even with the love for the roots), in Italy, in Europe, Becchetti has not only worked on order but by participating, digging, grasping the essentials of a perception, an attitude, getting in tune with faces in then communicated (with the diversity, the signs of history, specificity) his soul to the rest of the world narrowed or expanded it to be. In 1980 he stopped operating and has dedicated himself to perform, with considerable success, carpentry work. Only in 1995 she took over the cameras focusing mainly daily life in Rome, of which it owns a vast archive documentary.
