The Exhibition Center of the Rocca Paolina (CERP) will be Friday, August 29, 17.30, until Sunday, September 21, the exhibition "LakeDoc, Art, Research and Photografic Exibitions."
The event is parallel to the XV World Conference on Lakes, the World Lake Conference, which this year has chosen to Lake Trasimeno and Perugia, which dell'assise international headquarters which will be held September 1 to 5, and will see the participation of more a thousand experts from all over the world. The inauguration of the exhibition "LakeDoc" is scheduled on Friday, August 29 at 17.30. It starts with the "Around the world in a shell," an 'unprecedented opportunity to closely observe rare species of shells from all over the world, in collaboration with the Post and the contribution dell'AIOL. The date to mark on your agenda is to Monday, September 1, at 18.00, with a screening of the feature film by Federico Menichelli: "The smooth wall. The dream of Claudia ", produced by the Cultural Association for Theatre Research Work in Progress with the children of the Laboratory Cinema del Liceo Scientifico" G. Alessi "in Perugia; set at Lake Trasimeno and focused on issues related to environmental protection that allow you to discover the most hidden aspects of the lake and of those who live. There are 150 people who attended, including actors, technicians, organizers, involving all local authorities of the area and using as many as 25 different locations for 8 weeks. The film will be preceded at 17:00 by the award ceremony of different contests: "LakeDoc", "Best Practises for Lake", "ABA Award" (Academy of Fine Arts). In addition, an award of honor will be awarded to two distinguished faculty of the University for Foreigners of Perugia: Professor Rolando Marini for the photographic project "Water Interiors" and Professor Antonio Batinti for the scientific project "Linguistic Atlas of the Italian Lakes (ALLI) .
"LakeDoc" is a competition for video and photo-gallery on the theme of the lakes, created to promote the culture of water and lake areas. Were involved professional photographers, scholars, researchers and enthusiasts from around the world who have told the lake from its own point of view.
The "Best Practices for Lake" instead wanted to reward public and private entities that have made a tangible contribution to environmental protection in a sustainable way, through projects, strategies, governance, scientific know-how in the lake environment. For the section "Strategies and integrated subsidiaries" were awarded (ex aequo): Echogreen Foundation Fabbroni and "LakeAdmin, Regional administration of lake restoration initiatives" of the Finnish Environment Institute; Yo soy Atilya of Africa 70; for the "Architecture, Territory and Landscape Engineering" prize (ex aequo) in the village of Castiglione del Lago Perugia Fishermen of Arbit, Internal Traditional Boats Recovery Association, and the City of Molveno for the environmental recovery of the lake; 2nd prize (ex aequo) goes to Biolake Lucignano Luciani Gardens and the "Colony" of Germantown: history of a country that entered the lake of the City of Germantown (VA) and Pedaladda - Bike path along the lake Garlate of the City Lecco; for the "Energy and Environment" prize (ex aequo) goes to BioEnergy Reed of 'Institute Omnicomprensivo Rosselli Rasetti of Castiglione del Lago (Pg), and the project "explore" with the colors of the Lago d'Idro "of the municipality of Idro and the Association Eridio Sub.
For the contest ABA students of the Academy of Fine Arts "Pietro Vannucci" had the task of representing the lakes through the techniques of the art graphics and prints. The winners are Biquiao Ding, Catarzyna Kolezka, Noemi Belfiore.
The works of artists, researchers and various competitions, gathered in a group photo, CERP will remain on display at the Rocca Paolina until 21 September from 10.00 to 19.00, with free admission. (AGUS)
