In Assisi, at the two locations of the Museum of the Porziuncola and the Contemporary Art Gallery of the Pro Civitate Christiana , a major exhibition will be devoted to the relationship between Sacred Scripture and Art. Entitled "From the Word, the Image. L'Arte reading the Bible," will run from April 20 to August 18.
An exhibition of graphic works by Rembrandt, Dürer, Chagall, Dali, Rouault, and extraordinary contemporary artists such as Sandro Chia and Mimmo Paladino, as well as an educational exhibition on the evolution and meaning of the sacred text.
