Biographical notes: Mayou Nia
I live in Switzerland, in Vicques, a village in the canton of Jura. Fifth of six children, mother of 2 children and grandmother also, I graduated as a ceramist. For 28 years I taught in a high school art (creativity with terra cotta or clay). During which I formed 2 apprentices. I was also involved in social work and I ran a newspaper stand. I give private lessons in creativity with the earth and sometimes during these creations I lead people to do the experiences of inner journeys.
In recent years I decided to dedicate my life to art exclusively. I live the here and now, and I do not know what will happen tomorrow. Quest 'winter have been for two months in Mexico, where I made cultural exchanges with the vasaie "Totonache." The latter manually create and bake their pieces using traditional techniques and with the earth of the place. "
