Perugia (PG) - From August 27th to September 2nd La Bruna will be commemorating the feast of the Madonna delle Grazie, traditionally held in the first Sunday in September, with a procession involving all of the townsfolk behind the statue of the Virgin kept in the main church of La Bruna. The celebrations are held to commemorate a miraculous event that tood place in the 19th century, when a desperate husband prayed to the statue to save his wife, who risked dying in childbirth.
