Perugia (PG) - Monday, March 24, 2014, at 15:00 in the Aula Magna of Engineering of Perugia, Via Duranti 93 conference will be held Glimpses of Perugia. A city told in video by a group of directors, each with its different "look" and poetic approach.
The initiative is part of the series of conferences promoted within the educational activities of the integrated courses "Survey of architecture" and "Laboratory of Architecture Survey" activated by the University of Perugia in the academic year 2013-2014 as part of the Master of Science in one cycle in Building Engineering and Architecture.
The initiative will be introduced by Paolo Belardi and Valeria Menchetelli, the teacher, and will continue with the screening of "Glimpses of Perugia" which will be attended by directors involved in the project designed by the Laboratory of movies Gabriele Anastasio. At the end of the presentation the concluding remarks will be given by Fabio Bianconi, teaches a course on Techniques of Representation of the Master of Science in one cycle in Building Engineering and Architecture.
The places most familiar to us, such as the neighborhoods in which we were born or have chosen to live, those who are in danger of observing with less attention, because they cross immersed in our daily occupations and driven by the force of habit. Yet they are the custodians of the past and witnesses of the time in the making. Individual and collective memories lurk in patterns of streets as in the directions - always revealing, though often obscure - the place names.
