Perugia (PG) - The SocialPhotoFest was born in 2012 from the collaboration between the Association and the Association of Piombino SocialPhotoFest LuceGrigia of Perugia, thus realizing a 'Tuscan edition in May and one in Umbria November. In 2013 the 'Association LuceGrigia, following its mission to promote action for social and cultural communication through a visual, proposes the PerugiaSocialPhotoFest. The event will take place between 15 and 24 November in various locations in the historic center of Perugia.
The purpose of the event is finalizing a roundtable of social photography and therapeutics, open to experts and not, around which anyone can sit, talk, understand and learn, and then create an exchange of energy, knowledge and experience.

Afghan Box Camera
The Afghan Box Camera was invented between Kabul and Peshawar in the last century by some kind of knowledge,-traveled along the wars and oil pipelines. Testimonials of anthropologists tell of a large camera primitive, with the tanks internal development, able to make passport photos in the street in about ten minutes. Cuartonigro Photolab has recreated this form of craft walking by recycling garbage photographic west, until you get a machine that is no longer in the way and use radical-afghan, but that 5000km away several years and has now acquired an undeniable influence "Christian -Popular ".
In the room of installation itinerant who stands with irony PerugiaSocialPhotoFest, you can retreat with your own fictional heroes (Western) favorite.
