Orvieto (TR) - In 2012, the Last Judgement by Luca Signorelli had captured the attention of tourists and residents inside the Teatro Mancinelli in Orvieto had embarked on a fascinating journey of the senses. Now, in the Church of St. James, in Piazza Duomo, is the Revelation of Luca Signorelli Orvieto VISUAL SHOW which will make a pole of attraction for all those who want to enjoy a multimedia show in which art, architecture and music meet in a involving emotional journey.
The multimedia show - lasting 20 minutes - which will run until November 3, 2013, daily from 9.30 am to 19. Admission is € 3, reduced for students, residents and groups of at least 10 people is € 2.50.
The Visual Show, conceived by director and Visual Director Paolo Micciche and presented by Association TeMa and VisualClassics (a leading manufacturer of architectural visual and musical events through the use of new technologies, visual and sound), in collaboration with Mirabilia, allows viewers to experience a sensory journey in a magnificent series of frescoes.
Video projection, acting and spatialized audio lead the audience in a "emotional knowledge" of the masterpiece by Luca Signorelli, then, viewers will see in the Chapel of San Brizio in the Cathedral of Orvieto.
An innovative tool for a new approach to a vibrant culture, aimed at the general public. In a time of great global economic crisis, the project of the City Stage / Stage Orvieto - started in 2012 with the Visual Show On Man 'Orvieto - the Last Judgement by Luca Signorelli and two training workshops - aims to highlight and enhance the city's artistic heritage giving new impetus to tourism, but especially the goal is to do it in a totally innovative way.
One dedicated to the cycle of frescoes by Signorelli is one of those that may become a series of paths relative to other works of art in the city of Orvieto or of our region or, why not, in our country. The project presents itself as an experiment that features a completely new dimension of culture, seen and experienced with the help of new technologies that can help your senses to appreciate and absorb the language of art and music.
