Perugia (PG) - Throughout the month of January TEF Channel (836 on Sky) will be running six episodes of the Io Rifletto television documentary series directed by Andrea Sbarrett. The series of six docu-films, each of which lasts around fifty minutes, all focus on Umbria and ordinary Umbrians, with a particular theme explored each time. The sophisticated exploitation of absence of colour, in favour of greys and browns reminiscent of the Nouvelle Vague, give this work an upbeat flavour that is decidedly against the glitzy aesthetic so prominent in television today.
