Corciano (PG) - Villa Solomei Festival: at the start of the fifteenth edition June 28 to 30. This year's edition will feature a special attention to popular music, present in the three days in different forms and at different times but that will culminate in a concert on Saturday evening at 21.15, with the famous Lucilla Galeazzi.
Always alive the desire to live in this container the different forms of art. That's why in addition to the literature that accompanies the festival for the past three years, this year to support the first two there will also be an art exhibition. Marina Benedetti, mixed media artist, will be exhibiting at the premises of the academy and the foyer of the theater of his works ranging from graphic-pictorial achievements as small sculptures in glass fusing. Facilities that, through multi-sensory suggestions, intend to propose a path "bachtinianamente" located on the border between the various "kinds" and among the various arts.

Friday, June 28
18.00 Aperitif concert - Academy Neoumanistica
It starts with the Sea of ​​Verano Bottesini Quintet (music by Astor Piazzolla and Raffaele Bellafronte).
19.30 Stories, music and words to the village - Castle Square
As an interlude before the evening concert accordion Simone Maccaglia entertain audiences with the art of transcription (music by JS Bach, G. Rossini, P. Mascagni and I. Albeniz).
21.15 Concert Under the Stars - The Amphitheatre of the Teatro Cucinelli
First international guests for the first Friday evening: the String Quintet Vienna Chamber will bring to the stage an exciting Chiaroscuro Vienna (music by WA Mozart, J. Haydn and F. Schubert)
22.45 A candlelight - Peace Square
