Spello (PG) - From 25 February to 5 March 2017 returns with its seventh edition, the "Festival Cinema City of Spello and Borghi Umbri", the exhibition dedicated to the world of film, and to the professionals of the "behind the scenes".
The event, which promotes film culture in all its forms, provides free public screening of a shortlist of 11 films in competition (selected by a jury of prestigious industry names) selected among the Italian films released in cinemas in 'last year.
Since 2015, moreover, the projections are also made up of seven European features released in theaters in the previous two years. Space also to films having a smaller theatrical distribution although quality films.
Finally there is a section dedicated to the competition of documentaries that have a different theme each year, and a section of feature films with the subject the backstage of films produced in the last two years.
Each year is also assigned an Excellence Award in the last two years has been delivered and withdrawn from the Maestro Giuliano Montaldo (2015) and Master Ermanno Olmi (2016).
