At 4 years from the last disc of unreleased "Heart" (2009), ELISA thus returns to the stage record with a disc (the eighth in the studio after the recording project "Ivy" in 2010) of which once again is the author of music and lyrics, with the exception of a song, as it was for the great success of "The Greatest" (2006), was written entirely by Ligabue.
"THE SOUL OF FLIES" also contains a song written by Giuliano Sangiorgi music by Elisa and another song with the signature voice and a meeting with Tiziano Ferro. To embellish the recording project, in addition, the song "Still Here", the text of which was written by Elisa on the music of Ennio Morricone (included in the soundtrack of the last films of Quentin Tarantino's "Django Unchained").
