According to the tried and tested formula of Flashes of the author, the festival will address the Homeric world and its many suggestions related to the myths, the heroes, the fascinating topics such as travel, war, the return through the most unusual plans reading, with an exciting range of activities ranging from cinema to theater, from exclusive interviews to in-depth lectures from literary trail to the re-enactments, and even board games and a dinner inspired by the Greek gastronomy, in a journey that will unfold mainly in Perugia, but with events in Umbertide and for the first time, also in Civitanova Marche.
As many as four year theater shows on offer, all inspired by different characters and events of the Iliad and the Odyssey: it will start with "The last night at the palace" by Bruno Taburchi, inspired by the epilogue of the Odyssey in the home of Ulysses to Ithaca , followed by "A-as-Argo" Matthias de Virgiliis, a piece of theater and music inspired by the characters of the Iliad, so it will be the turn of "Menin" by Stefano Francoia or the wrath sung in Homer's Iliad, and finally close the festival will be "The gold of Priam" Mario Coletti, inspired by the life of Heinrich Schliemann, the archaeologist who discovered the ruins of Troy.
