Perugia (PG) - Two-act ballet choreographer Luciano Cannito, freely adapted from Federico Fellini's film, will be at Morley Sunday, February 16th. In this revised version specially choreographed for the Company Danzitalia, Gradisca in the shoes of one of the most appreciated Italian dancers and loved by the public, Rossella Brescia.
It is an amusing and melancholy fresco of Italy between the two world wars, where Fascism and the Church exerted their power, influencing the culture and customs. The story of Titta, alter-ego of Fellini teenager, and his family fits harmoniously in a context of small portraits and anecdotes related to a common thread that makes them interdependent, where it appears the light-heartedness and love of life of its Italian of the time.
