Perugia (PG) - - The SEU Services - Europe Umbrian School of Public Administration, and the Department of Culture of the Region of Umbria, they arranged for Monday, March 24th at 8:30 am a conference entitled "Cultural Europe: Opportunities, policies and prospects regional cooperation. "
The conference, to be held in the hall of the Palazzo dei Notari Priori, has among its objectives to develop the program to support projects in the cultural sphere, supported by European funding for 2014-2020.
With the funding provided, the program called "Creative Europe" wants to contribute, developing cooperation, the promotion of cultural heritage shared by Europeans through the development of cooperative projects cultural partnerships. During the day, the program will be detailed framework allocating an overall funding of € 1.46 billion dedicated to the cultural and creative sector for 2014-2020 and will consist of two subprograms (Sub Sub Culture and Media) and a cross-section ( Guarantee Fund for the cultural and creative sector, given more support and piloting).
Again with reference to culture, we must add the resources that will be directed to the cultural heritage and creativity provided by the cohesion policies and the Horizon 2020 program. All this confirms that the culture is not only an industry but a resource cross, and which plays a crucial role in the construction of European identity in terms of development and social innovation.
