Spoleto (PG) - International Extravirgin Oliveoil Agency, in collaboration with IRVEA - Institute for Research and Promotion of Excellence food and agriculture, presents VIII International Olive Oil Competition Harmony - Trophy 2014, the international competition for producers of extra virgin olive oil of high quality, which is intended to promote the harmonization of taste through the conscious use of extra virgin combination of excellence in food-oil, in High Schools Kitchen and Dining and Catering in Italy and abroad.
Collection accessions and specimens up to February 11, 2014
With the "Trophy 2014" will be awarded to international oil from the two hemispheres, which have reached the top two spots in the final rankings for the individual categories of fruit: Mild, Medium, Intense. The top 10 after the second of each category will be awarded the "Diploma of Great Mention".
8th Contest "Harmony" also will be awarded the 3 oils with the best chemical composition from each hemisphere,
Already introduced in previous editions of the competition, will be held at the same awards winners of the oils, the competition "Harmony in the kitchen", which will compete with the best young chef of the Hotel Institutes participating in the "Oleum Sapiens" through the creation of dishes made with oils winners.
All oils participants will adhere to the selection of the request, the program for the promotion and enhancement of extra virgin olive oils of excellence in elaioteca International and Cooking Schools in Italy as well as in New York, Toronto, Montreal, Heidelberg, Tokyo, Seoul , Sao Paulo.
