Perugia (PG) - The contest comes from the idea to exploit and to know every corner of the city of Perugia through the digital portraits of amateur photographers.
In order to allow each "photographer" to take part in the competition was divided into two sections:
1. For minors, conveyed by the schools of the Municipality of Perugia: the investment will be for classes.
2. For all adults, without limitation of territory.
The photos can be either in black / white or color, and unpublished, with size not less than 1024
768 pixels with 300 dpi resolution and the file should not have a magnitude greater than 5 MB (5,242,880 bytes), so that the quality may be acceptable, but the pictures can also be made with a mobile phone.
Each entrant may upload a maximum of n. 2 (two) photographs.
The competition will begin at 9:00 am on 20/11/2014 until 20:00 of 28.02.2014, the awards' date.
PURPOSE OF PHOTOS
The aim of the competition is not rewarding quality technique in itself given by the value of the car or adjustments that can be made to the computer, but the visionary skills of the photographer and his love for Perugia.
The purpose of the photos is to portray every corner of the city (streets, roads, buildings, monuments, fountains, moments of everyday life, voluntary associations, artisans, views, details, parks, gates, sporting moments, events etc.) By most popular to the most hidden to showcase the beauty of leaving the photographer ingenuity and craftsmanship in the method and in the subject.
We want to see the beauty and the good characteristics of Perugia.
The teachers / professors, can take advantage of this opportunity to create a teaching project that would bring their students to the city and to a world of fantasy and healthy as photography.
TOOLS USED FOR PHOTO SHARING
In the relevant section of the website www.nodrogapg.it, after registration, you can enter the photographs in the number required by the Rules of the competition (at most n. 2 for each participant).
The photographs will not be visible until the awards ceremony and the exhibition of the same.
The website will have a section reserved for students whose access can be managed by the professors / teachers for each class.

The competition is sponsored by the Umbria Region, the Province of Perugia, the Municipality of Perugia, the Foundation "Perugia2019 with the places of S. Francis of Assisi and Umbria ", the Regional Education Office and CONI - Comitato Regionale of Umbria.

EVALUATION OF PICTURES AND PRIZES
The jury will be chaired by Maestro Franco Venanti and will consist of: Sandro Allegrini, Peter Crocchioni, Gennaro Rino Di Maio and Michela Peccini.
The winning photographs will be:
The best photographs of the authors and older. One of the photographs will be chosen by the Mayor of Perugia, in a pink selected by the jury and will be the "Photos Perugia" will be used by the City of Perugia for the promotion of the City.
The prizes of this category will be:

All prints will be exhibited in any exhibition. Under the patronage of the institutions, will also be printed a publication.
