This unusual expedition combines stunning views with a look at the impressive iron quarries of Terrargo. Departure is from Monteleone, from which a series of ancient footpaths lead to Casale La Villa and then onto Butino. From here a dirt road continues to Balocco, near which there are the ruins of the fortress of Vetranola.
