Following the decision by the Camaldolese monks of the Eremo della Santa Croce of Fonte Avellana (Pesaro and Urbino) to open the Abbey of Santa Maria di Sitria to the public, groups of over ten people can now visit this magnificent complex by appointment. Visitors intending to tour the abbey on Sundays need not book their visit in advance.
