Magione (PG) - The Storie di Ville e Giardini series of guided tours of some of Umbria's finest houses and gardens continues on September 1st with Villa Schnabl, developed from the walls of an ancient hill town as the country residence of the Danzetta Alfani family. When it was eventually bought by Riccardo Schnabl Rossi, the complex was restructured in the Art Nouveau style and became a hub of Perugia's Belle Epoque society, hosting even Giacomo Puccini.
