Spoleto (Pg). With almost one hundred events scheduled, this year’s edition of the “Sogno d’Estate” summer cultural programme of Spoleto includes international and Italian highlights such as Paolo Conte, Baustelle, Alberto Fortis (in a concert dedicated to John Lennon), Marco Mengoni, Massimo Wertmuller in Marzio di Marte (dedicated to Flaiano), a Carmen with Rosella Brescia and Josè Perez. From July 14th to September 5th. Other attractions include a curious ‘gastronomic theatre’ experiment conducted by students from the Teodelapio drama school and entitled Teatro à la carte, an evening of four serenades from the traditional Umbrian folk repertoire, open air film showings accompanied by culinary delights and “Spoleto Dementia” – a selection of short films made by local youngsters.
Every Sunday morning at 11.30am the Spoleto town band will perform at the Casina dell’Ippocastano.
