Guiding spirit of the initiative is the need to build for the boys, and boys, a listening space and a possible response training that can stimulate a free and honest involvement through the awarding of the most significant texts in content, narrative technique and originality .
The track theme offered by the announcement, "Outside and inside of me," focuses attention on those aspects closer to the daily life of children, such as school, family, peer group, of relationships emotional, behavioral, intellectual, between the outside world and a "territory" intimate to the individual, who talks about himself and is able to develop a critical sense on '"environment" to which it belongs relationship with it in a constructive way.
The self-revelation through the reflection on the "outside" world, with its stresses and contradictions, with the concrete experience of the people who are part of it and the things that pass us by, it is not only in itself, an exercise of freedom, but it helps us adults to place ourselves in a relationship of listening and acceptance towards the thirst for emotions, ideals, answers, which the boys yearn so tenaciously.
Rebuilding the steps of experience, placing lived in a shared background, it can be also a boost in the process of re-appropriation of the experience of writing, writing picking up themselves to lead the reader in some place, in some "cave secret "and recreate the fun of listening to a story.
The prize for the top three winners, awarded by a jury of experts, is the publication of the papers, with a circulation of 600 copies, distributed free of charge to the winners, the participating schools, the municipal authorities and other interested parties.
