Magione (PG) - San Savino (Pg). On July 1st the main square of San Savino, a small village near Magione, will have the honour of hosting a concert by an ensemble of young Italian and Canadian musicians that is intended to be a kind of pre-inauguration of the Trasimeno Music Festival scheduled to open officially the following day with Angela Hewitt performing in the castle of the Knights of Malta. Over the years Angela Hewitt, Canadian born pianist but Umbrian resident by choice, has made a number of public statements that have added to Umbria's prestige as depositary of fine living, culture and cuisine.
