Terni (TR) - This year's edition of Opera InCanto will run at the Teatro Secci of Terni from October 6th to 12th. To mark the centenary of the birth of John Cage, this year's festival will be hosting renowned tenor Luigi Petroni in a world premiere of the comic intermezzo Boletus, composed by Carlo Boccadoro to a libretto by Giuseppe di Leva, which is based on an appearance that Cage made on the popular Italian television quiz show "Lascia o Raddoppia", conducted by the late Mike Bongiorno.
