Perugia (PG) - Educated people in their everyday life, from the United States to Cuba, are the subjects of the photo exhibition "World" program in the Fireplace Room of the Rocca Paolina in Perugia, 5 to 13 April 2014.
25 are the shots in which the photographer Perugia, Louis Nigro, aims to highlight the diversity of the two peoples, the Cuban and U.S., apparently neighbors - in geographical terms - yet culturally distant.
The exhibition will be divided into two sections: in the first devoted to the United States of America, will be shown photographs in which the subjects are captured in their everyday life, at work, during leisure time, immortalized on the streets of New York, California, Arizona , Utah, Nevada, Florida.
The second section and, instead, dedicated to Cuba, a country dear to the photographer to the force with which the local people can live in spite of the economic and political difficulties. A joie de vivre that we find in the portraits on display.
"World" is also intended as a tribute to the first passion of the artist Perugino: music. Precisely for this reason, the visitor will be involved in an audio-visual course in which the vision of photographic works will be accompanied by listening to a selection of songs from different countries protagonists. A miscellany of over a thousand pieces of contemporary artists and street sounds curated by the "Laboratorio Musicale Fuoritempo."
