Perugia Flower Show, exhibition of rare and unusual plants, also returns this year with its autumn meeting on 13 and 14 September 2014 in the beautiful setting of the Gardens Gable, in Borgo XX I come to Perugia.
Now become an indispensable horticultural meeting, the trade show will allow visitors the most experienced and new fans discover in preview the new national industry and to meet the best collectors and producers of botanical rarities. The September edition with its warm autumn colors will be entirely devoted to the most fascinating botanical varieties which reach their peak in the period from September to January to allow anyone to have a flower garden all year round, not just in spring.
You will be able to find inside the garden fruit trees of every variety from those of well-being to those in ancient species and found, berries and small fruits, but also extensive collections of chillies from all over the world along with other plants aromatic. There will also perennials in autumn flowering asters, grasses, shrubs, antique roses, cacti and succulents. Should not forget of course the bulbs in the collection at the height of their beauty, roses, hydrangeas as well as orchids, citrus and tillandsie.
The novelty this year will be a competition organized by the organizing committee in collaboration with the magazine Gardens and Environment and the University of Perugia to reward the best botanical collection and more unusual varieties, along with the best layout of the exhibition area in the event. The Scientific Committee will be chaired therefore dall'agronomo landscape as well as technical and scientific coordinator of the magazine mentioned above, Eraldo Antonini, together with Prof. Tei, director of the Department of Agricultural, Food and Environmental Sciences of Perugia, Prof. Frenguelli, Prof. David Grohmann and Prof . Maurizio Micheli, all members of the same department.
As for the spring edition, Perugia Flower Show "Winter Edition" will also offer a series of events held by the exhibitors themselves as seminars and courses in gardening, fun educational activities for children, along with cultural and scientific laboratories, which over the years have become the hallmark of the event.
An issue not to be missed in short, to deepen their knowledge on quality gardening and do the "garden therapy" a daily practice, learn and have fun and enjoy the wonderful gifts that nature offers us.
