Orvieto (Tr). Up until November 13th the Museo Opera del Duomo will be paying tribute to the legendary Sienese architect Lorenzo Maitani, whose designs for the Duomo of Orvieto have helped put the city on the global map. The show features, among other artefacts, the original drawings Maitani made for the façade of the building in 1310, probably the oldest surviving architectural designs in the world.
