Trevi (PG) - The exhibition entitled "IMAGINE THE ARCHITECTURE. 15 DRAWINGS BY FRANCO PURINI BETWEEN LANGUAGE PROJECTS 19 "which opens the day March 15, 2014 at 18:30 in the framework of the events organized in the ancient and prestigious setting of Palazzo Lucarini in Trevi (Pg), is the brainchild of Andrea Dragoni and Maurizio Coccia - who was responsible for the overall coordination - which aims to restore the centrality of the discipline of architecture focusing mainly on his imaginative component.
To give strength to this aspect very often betrayed in current practice, the drawings are accompanied by Franco Pure, thanks to the intuition of Paul Belardi, architect and director of the Accademia di Belle Arti in Perugia, by selected architectural projects (in the form of plastic) made during the last academic experience Master's Roman and partly presented at the exhibition "BETWEEN TYPE AND MODELS", curated in 2013 by Henry Ansah, Sarah and Patricia Petrolati Pescarolo and presented in the Faculty of Architecture of Rome Fontanella Borghese.
The purpose of the exhibition is not only to celebrate their ideational component of the two-dimensional drawing (real field of research Franco Purini for more than four decades) - here you try to summarize provocatively in just fifteen exempla ficta - but also reaffirm an innate propensity cognitive intuition that goes beyond the mere ability to think in a figurative universe well-structured and consistently succeeds in establishing itself as that idea can bypass the ephemeral and reiterate the matrix composition of the project through a tireless investigation . The same nineteen models arising from it and make a counterpoint, demonstrating the value of design in architecture inquiring foreshadowing buildings or pieces of city with a strong utopian capable of enhancing the environment in which they are designed.
