Trevi (PG) - The sixth round of programming dedicated to young artists and curators of Palazzo Lucarini Contemporary Trevi, opens the door to Nicole Voltan. Nicole Voltan's artistic research is inspired by nature in all its forms, borrowing from concepts of physics and geology, to reach human understanding of the whole. The project presented by Gallery Cynical reflects sull'antropologico need and desire to understand the intrinsic balance of things, through a scientific approach which analyzes the micro and the macro and the relationship between man and nature, proposing works result of a thorough study methodology.
PARA KLÀSIS explores the phenomena of the Earth and its "fractures," the isostasy and the search for balance of opposites, through various means in dialogue: video projection, painting and installation, light and dark, point up the continuing experimentation with Nicole Voltan, which uses every means at its disposal, testing the perception of the real data. Through empirical observation, the author develops a visceral research that leads to results strongly intimate: surreal settings that develop between stillness and movement.
